Episode 1: An Introduction To Non-Fiction Lore

You must be lost...

Having scrolled this far down the recommended list, you must really be scraping the barrel to find a history/mythology podcast that isn't about two twenty-something white boys talking only about what World War Two facts they could find on the first page of google.

Enter the folks...

Terren and Landon, two twenty something white boys who have the spirit and dedication to get all the way to the second page of google, and who's first episode wasn't even about how the Big H did nothing wrong.

In this series the friendly folks will be deep diving into different regions and cultures of the planet throughout history, to unpack events, societies, religions, and the stories they tell to get a broader perspective on the myths and folk legends that emerge from them. In our first season we're honing in on The Great Lakes area of North America, and taking a closer look at some of the First Nations that lived there. Keep an eye out for what American Indian folk figure we'll be building up to and hit us up on social media to take guesses, get some extra lore, or just be a part of the community!

Despite an outward persona of the seasoned man of the west you see before you, Terren Coffey might be the furthest thing from that idyllic archetype one could imagine. Currently studying cinematography and film production, Terren is equal parts a student of cinema and obscure fictional universe lore that could never be applied to the real world. He thought there was no better time to start a brand new podcast than the end of the world, so he quit his warehouse job to make the most of the apocalypse and started a pop culture show with his friend Isaac. We hope you enjoy what the boys have to offer to the never ending discussion of entertainment, and have as rootin tootin a time listening as we do creating!
